I know life has not been fair to you (or so it seems.) The endless bouts of failure and disappointment has left you discouraged, depressed and panting like an Olympic long-distance racer who ran the entire arduous kilometers of an important race until the end only to discover she has been running the track backwards all along.
I understand you’ve made mistakes that seems unforgivable, and made time irredeemable. Maybe, you fornicated and got pregnant despite being the leader of your church’s prayer unit, and you’re now considering aborting the child to hide the sin and avoid the shame. Or you now have a baby outside wedlock, and for that reason, now feel unworthy of carrying the Cross.
Be encouraged, and pick yourself up.
If only you will not be scared to return to the throne room of the Lord,
If only you will decide to boldly shake off the whip of pains, and the chains of shame,
If only you will choose to wake up from the slumber of time and shake off the serpent of depression into the fire of deliverance,
If only you will choose to run to the Fountain from where you’ll receive cleansing and refreshing,
If you will choose to arise and shine, ready to reveal the Christ in you.
If only you will, then you’ll be shocked to find out that the Master has already forgiven you. He’s calling out to you with warm arms spread out, a loving heart to heal you, and kind words to restore you. You don’t have to keep suffering in the secret when your Father has come to comfort and set you free.
Know this today and know peace forevermore in Christ Jesus. There’s a King in you.
Grace to you.
